800G OSFP112 breakout to 2× QSFP112 passive direct attach copper cable, up to 3 m. Factory-terminated, serialized and 100% traffic-tested before shipment.
The 800G OSFP112 to 2× 400G QSFP112 Breakout DAC (FOT-DAC-800G-2X400G-O112) is a factory-terminated passive direct attach copper assembly linking one 800G OSFP112 port to 2 independent QSFP112 ports, delivering full 800G throughput over 30/28/26 AWG twinax copper at distances of up to 3 m. As a passive cable it consumes almost no power and adds zero latency — the most cost-effective way to connect equipment inside or between adjacent racks.
Each assembly ships terminated, serialized and 100% traffic-tested: eye-diagram and BER verification on every lane, connector housings inspected, and EEPROM programmed to your requested vendor coding so the cable is recognized natively by your switches and NICs. This model is also offered NVIDIA MCP7Y00-compatible for GPU-cluster deployments.
In breakout mode the switch port is configured to operate as independent sub-ports — ideal for connecting one high-speed spine port to multiple lower-speed leaf devices, doubling usable port density without extra switching hardware. OEM branding, custom lengths and mixed-coding ends (different vendor coding on each end) are all supported with short lead times.

Need a length that isn't listed? Custom lengths ship in 5–7 days — just note it in your RFQ.
Every cable is EEPROM-programmed at the factory to the vendor coding you specify, so it is recognized natively — no "unsupported transceiver" warnings, no console workarounds. Mixed coding (a different vendor on each end) is available for inter-vendor links.
Every lane BER-verified end-to-end on live traffic before packing; eye diagrams sampled per batch.
Unit serial number links to test record, coding profile and production batch for full traceability.
Per-order test report available on request; sample reports provided for tender documentation.
Individually bagged with pull-tab protector caps, coiled to safe bend radius, export cartons.
Spine-leaf and top-of-rack links inside and between adjacent racks.
High-radix accelerator fabrics where cost per port and power per bit decide the BOM.
InfiniBand-class latency for compute and NVMe-oF storage backends.
Cost-effective uplinks between aggregation and core switching layers.
A passive DAC is a plain twinax copper link with no electronics — near-zero power, zero added latency, but limited to short reach. An active DAC adds signal-conditioning chips in the connector ends to roughly double the reach at slightly higher cost and power. For in-rack links a passive cable is almost always the right choice.
Yes — the OSFP112 port must be set to breakout (e.g. 2×200G mode) in the switch OS. All major NOS (NX-OS, EOS, Junos, Cumulus, SONiC, MLNX-OS) support it; we can preconfigure lane mapping on request.
Yes — tell us your platform when ordering and we program the EEPROM with the matching vendor coding (NVIDIA/Mellanox, Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Huawei, HPE or open MSA). Mixed coding on the two ends is available for inter-vendor links.
Standard configurations ship in 3–7 days with flexible MOQ. Custom OEM/ODM runs are quoted per project — send us your specs for a fast quotation.
Tell us the platform and the quantity. An engineer checks the part against your switch and software version before quoting — if it will not work, we say so.
Goes to our engineers and the quotation desk together. Replies come from sales@topnetsystem.com, usually within one working day.
