Product Overview

25G on one strand — order in matched pairs, one of each wavelength direction per link.

Built to 25G BiDi single-fibre bidirectional, this module presents a Simplex LC optical interface and runs over OS2 single-mode (single fibre). Every unit is programmed to your platform's vendor coding, powered up on a live switch and traffic-tested end-to-end before it is packed — so it links up on first insertion rather than throwing an “unsupported transceiver” message at 2 a.m.

Full DDM/DOM telemetry is implemented, so per-lane transmit and receive power, laser bias and case temperature are readable live from your NOS. Modules are serialized, individually bagged with dust caps, and covered by a 3-year warranty. OEM/ODM labelling and custom EEPROM profiles are available on request.

What reach will I actually get on OS2 single-mode?

This module is specified to 10 km. Real-world reach depends on your channel loss budget — every mated connector pair costs roughly 0.3 dB and every splice about 0.1 dB. Measure the installed channel rather than assuming the map distance, and keep 2–3 dB of margin for ageing and future repairs.

Do I order these in pairs?

Yes — BiDi modules are directional. Each link needs one module of each wavelength direction (for example TX 1270 / RX 1330 at one end and TX 1330 / RX 1270 at the other). Order in matched pairs and label the ends; two modules of the same direction will not link.

Can you code these for my switch vendor?

Yes. We program the EEPROM at manufacture for NVIDIA/Mellanox, Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Huawei, HPE, Dell, Extreme and generic MSA. Specify the platform on your RFQ; mixed coding (a different vendor at each end) is routine for inter-vendor links.

Do you supply test reports and samples?

Free samples are available so you can qualify the module in your own environment before committing to volume. Per-order test reports are supplied on request, and sample reports can be provided for tender documentation.
