Product Overview

The FTTH drop-cable patch cord is purpose-built for last-mile access: a flat, self-supporting drop cable terminated with SC/APC connectors, ready to run from distribution box to subscriber terminal in aerial, duct or indoor-wall installations.

Bend-insensitive G.657 fiber shrugs off the tight corners and staples of real-world home wiring, while the FRP strength members carry pulling tension without stressing the fiber. APC polish keeps reflections below -60 dB for clean GPON/XGS-PON service.

Supplied in any length with pre-terminated one or both ends, LSZH sheathing, and 100% factory loss testing — so installers connect rather than splice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is APC polish standard for FTTH/PON deployments?

PON systems carry analog RF video and are sensitive to reflections. APC's 8° angled end-face reflects stray light into the cladding instead of back down the core, keeping return loss ≥60 dB and the optical network clean.

What is the difference between UPC and APC polish?

UPC connectors have a domed end-face giving return loss ≥50 dB — ideal for most Ethernet and data links. APC connectors are polished at an 8° angle for ≥60 dB return loss, preferred for PON/CATV, RF-over-fiber and other reflection-sensitive systems.

Are the patch cords tested before shipment?

Every assembly undergoes 100% optical inspection plus insertion- and return-loss testing to IEC, TIA/EIA and Telcordia standards. Test reports are available on request.

Can length, color, jacket and connectors be customized?

Yes — length, jacket color and material (PVC / LSZH / OFNP / OFNR), cable diameter (0.9 / 2.0 / 3.0 mm) and any connector combination are OEM/ODM customizable.

What are your MOQ and lead time?

Standard configurations ship in 3–7 days with flexible MOQ. Custom OEM/ODM runs are quoted per project — send us your specs for a fast quotation.
