Product Overview

The LC-ST single-mode patch cord bridges modern high-density LC equipment with the ST bayonet interfaces still widely deployed in campus networks, industrial plants and legacy distribution frames. It carries the same precision termination as our full jumper line: ≤0.3 dB insertion loss and Telcordia-grade polish geometry.

The positive-locking ST bayonet keeps connections secure in vibration-prone environments, while the LC end packs into today's high-density panels. OS2 single-mode is standard, with OM3/OM4 multimode, PVC/LSZH jackets and UL/CPR fire ratings available to match the installation.

As with every FOT assembly, each cord is 100% inspection- and loss-tested, with full OEM/ODM flexibility on length, color, jacket and connector pairing.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I choose an ST connector over SC or LC?

ST connectors are common in older campus and industrial installations. Choose LC-ST jumpers when connecting modern LC-based switches or panels to that installed ST base — it avoids re-terminating the legacy side.

What is the difference between UPC and APC polish?

UPC connectors have a domed end-face giving return loss ≥50 dB — ideal for most Ethernet and data links. APC connectors are polished at an 8° angle for ≥60 dB return loss, preferred for PON/CATV, RF-over-fiber and other reflection-sensitive systems.

Are the patch cords tested before shipment?

Every assembly undergoes 100% optical inspection plus insertion- and return-loss testing to IEC, TIA/EIA and Telcordia standards. Test reports are available on request.

Can length, color, jacket and connectors be customized?

Yes — length, jacket color and material (PVC / LSZH / OFNP / OFNR), cable diameter (0.9 / 2.0 / 3.0 mm) and any connector combination are OEM/ODM customizable.

What are your MOQ and lead time?

Standard configurations ship in 3–7 days with flexible MOQ. Custom OEM/ODM runs are quoted per project — send us your specs for a fast quotation.
