Product Overview

The LC Uniboot push-pull patch cord is engineered for high-density data center patching: two fibers share a single compact tube, cutting cable volume roughly in half versus conventional duplex zipcord and visibly improving airflow and cooling efficiency in crowded cabinets.

An integrated push-pull tab lets technicians insert and release connectors packed in tight panel arrays without special tools — no more fingers wedged between ports. Polarity can be reversed in the field without exposing the fiber.

Performance matches our premium jumper line — ≤0.3 dB insertion loss, up to ≥60 dB return loss (APC), 100% factory tested — in OS2, OM3 and OM4 with LSZH options for enclosed environments.

Frequently Asked Questions

What advantage does a uniboot design give in high-density racks?

One round cable instead of two means about 50% less cable mass to route, better airflow for cooling, and easier tracing — and the push-pull tab makes ports accessible even at panel densities where fingers cannot reach the latch.

What is the difference between UPC and APC polish?

UPC connectors have a domed end-face giving return loss ≥50 dB — ideal for most Ethernet and data links. APC connectors are polished at an 8° angle for ≥60 dB return loss, preferred for PON/CATV, RF-over-fiber and other reflection-sensitive systems.

Are the patch cords tested before shipment?

Every assembly undergoes 100% optical inspection plus insertion- and return-loss testing to IEC, TIA/EIA and Telcordia standards. Test reports are available on request.

Can length, color, jacket and connectors be customized?

Yes — length, jacket color and material (PVC / LSZH / OFNP / OFNR), cable diameter (0.9 / 2.0 / 3.0 mm) and any connector combination are OEM/ODM customizable.

What are your MOQ and lead time?

Standard configurations ship in 3–7 days with flexible MOQ. Custom OEM/ODM runs are quoted per project — send us your specs for a fast quotation.
