Product Overview

The LC-FC single-mode patch cord pairs the compact LC interface with the threaded FC connector trusted in telecom transmission racks, test benches and instrumentation, where its screw-on coupling holds alignment under vibration and repeated handling.

Precision ceramic ferrules deliver ≤0.3 dB insertion loss with ≥50 dB (UPC) / ≥60 dB (APC) return loss, compliant with IEC, TIA/EIA and Telcordia. OS2 is standard; OM3/OM4, PVC/LSZH jackets and 0.9/2.0/3.0 mm diameters are selectable.

100% factory testing and complete OEM/ODM customization make it a dependable choice for both field deployment and lab use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why use FC connectors in test and measurement setups?

FC's threaded coupling provides consistent, repeatable mating pressure, which stabilizes measurements and withstands frequent connect/disconnect cycles — ideal for OTDR ports, light sources and lab instruments.

What is the difference between UPC and APC polish?

UPC connectors have a domed end-face giving return loss ≥50 dB — ideal for most Ethernet and data links. APC connectors are polished at an 8° angle for ≥60 dB return loss, preferred for PON/CATV, RF-over-fiber and other reflection-sensitive systems.

Are the patch cords tested before shipment?

Every assembly undergoes 100% optical inspection plus insertion- and return-loss testing to IEC, TIA/EIA and Telcordia standards. Test reports are available on request.

Can length, color, jacket and connectors be customized?

Yes — length, jacket color and material (PVC / LSZH / OFNP / OFNR), cable diameter (0.9 / 2.0 / 3.0 mm) and any connector combination are OEM/ODM customizable.

What are your MOQ and lead time?

Standard configurations ship in 3–7 days with flexible MOQ. Custom OEM/ODM runs are quoted per project — send us your specs for a fast quotation.
